Here you can stay in the impressive Balbirnie Hotel, walk
out of the front door and have a round of golf on the beautiful
Balbirnie Park Golf Club, chosen by the Scottish PGA for
competition and championship play. |
BURNTISLAND GOLF CLUB
This 18 hole, par 70 can be appreciated by the golfer as
well as the tourist. With views across the bay to Edinburgh
and Dunbar, a course you will remember. |

CANMORE, BY DUNFERMLINE
Not the longest of courses but accuracy is required as well
as a sound short game. Some of the unusual par 3’s
will certainly keep you interested. |
CARNOUSTIE
Although not located in Fife, the golfing experience would
not be complete without the addition of neighbouring championship
courses. Rounds can be played over the championship, Burnside
and Buddon Links courses. |

CHARLETON GOLF CLUB
18 hole – Par 72
A terrific course in a parkland setting which also boasts
an 18 hole par 3 course, as well as a fully turfed practice
and driving range. |
CRAIL, BALCOMIE
Skirting along the Fife coast this historic course which
boasts being the seventh oldest club in the world is a true
test, if the wind is blowing or not. |

DRUMOIG
Located in Leuchars on the outskirts of St Andrews. A lesser
known course but still just as challenging as its more famous
neighbours. |
DUNNIKIER PARK
On the outreaches of Kirkcaldy, this well laid out municipal
course will suit all levels of golfer. |

ELIE
A true links course that remains a favourite with holiday
makers and locals alike. One of the more unusual features
is a World War 2 submarine periscope which the starter uses
to ensure the first fairway is clear. Stunning views –
well worth a visit. |
ELMWOOD STRATHEDEN
On the outskirts of Cupar, famed for its green keeper training,
there is never a question of the manicuring and condition
of the course. |

FALKLAND
This short but testing course of 9 holes is set in parkland
and is less than 3000 yards long. Catering for parties can
be arranged with prior notice. |
FORRESTER PARK, DUNFERMLINE
A new addition, but increasing in stature to its nearby
rivals. A parkland course which has the length to test any
golfer. Superb clubhouse that can cater for any outing or
occasion. |

KINGSBARNS
Although
considered to be a new course, it has in fact been a course
for over 200 years. Extended and refurbished in the last
10 years, this Open qualifying course with its awesome views
across the bay and its immaculate presentation will reward

The Muirs, Kinross will provide all your accommodation and
golfing needs for your stay. Both courses have their own
personality and each is worth a visit. |

KIRKCALDY GOLF CLUB
Known
to all the locals as Balwearie, this parkland course offers
the peace and quiet of a country location, but is still

LADYBANK
Set in a woodland setting, this Open qualifying course will

LUNDIN LINKS GOLF CLUB
Running in line with Leven Links, this wonderful golf links
offers everything – pot bunkers, perfect greens, out
of bounds – not for the faint hearted, but perfect
for the modern golfer. |

SCOTSCRAIG
Situated only 15 minutes from St Andrews, this 6310 yard
long course with large fairway bunkers is challenging and

DUKES
This Peter Thomson designed course at first sight may look
tame, but when the wind blows and the clusters of small
bunkers and the undulations come into play, the subtleties
and natural beauty make this a course you will enjoy playing,
and look forward to your next visit. |

Designed to be a course for the less dedicated, beginners
and children, this easy walking, 9 hole course gives the
St Andrews experience without the competitive element. |
THE CASTLE COURSE
Hugging the coastline with stunning views of St Andrews
and Kinkell Ness, the North Sea is a magnificent backdrop
to this David McLay Kidd designed course. |

THE EDEN
Celebrating its centenary in 2014, this links course cannot
be taken for granted, with its bunkers positioned to keep
you on your toes. Annually holding the Eden Trophy, one
of Britain’s oldest amateur tournaments, it remains
a course you will play again and again. |
JUBILEE COURSE
Overlooking the town of St Andrews, this championship listed
course is one of the more difficult courses you will encounter
on your visit. Stunning views across the town are a favourite
with locals and visitors alike. |

NEW COURSE
One of old Tom Morris’ best designed courses has many
of the world famous features of the Old Course replicated
and will prove every bit as daunting. Opened in 1895 the
“new” course is well located for the practice
ground and floodlit driving range. |
STRATHTYRUM COURSE
The youngest of the St Andrews family this links course
has very few bunkers and will suit the less competitive
golfer. |

THE OLD COURSE, ST ANDREWS
The
undisputed number 1 golf course on any golfer’s wish
list. Having hosted the millennium British Open proves how
revered the hallowed turf is and how it will play its part
in the 2010 Open. It is also plays its part in the Dunhill

Fairmont, St Andrews Bay Courses
THE TORRANCE
Measuring almost 7000 yards, it is a traditional Scottish
links with stunning sea views as a backdrop. It is a collaboration
of course building, firstly by Gene Sarazen then finally
completed by Bob Torrance. |

THE KITTOCKS (formerly The
Devlin)
Slightly longer than The Torrance, The Kittocks does not
take prisoners. With its thick rough and its less then friendly
bunkers which protect its large green from the unwary. |
